This Saturday, Labor Day weekend we work it! We all put in the hours to get it done. I'll put on the beats to get down! Clock in at 2pm and goes till the whistle blows. Party Island is the place. Can't wait to see your face!

It's a dillo get down! Get out of your shell with us at Party Island on Lady Bird/Town Lake. Shake your Texas speed bumps to a funky mix from 2pm till sunset. Don't get left out in the sun like road kill! Come have a splash with the coolest critters in the ATX!

Here are some of my pro tips:

1. Bring a trash bag for your trash and any you decide to pick up along the way.

2. Use a water buddy system. Keep an eye out for your homies. Every 10 minutes make sure you see your buddy above water. Do a call and response.

3. Don't drink too much out there. Do a bottle of water at least 2 to 1.

4. Take food and non-alcoholic drinks. Some nourishment will go a long way.

5. Take an honest audit of how you are feeling from time to time. We crazy and can get carried away.

6. Big ass sun hat. Keeping the UV out your business is a game changer.

7. Be ultra careful on ramps and rocks when loading/unloading. Surfaces are slick and you are not the same as when you got in the water.

8. Water shoes help alot when off your watercraft. Cheapies and old sneaks are just fine.

10. If you ever feel like you are in trouble holler for assistance sooner rather than later.

11. Don't lose your paddle! You will get no where fast without your motor.

While you enjoy the water please remember to take all your trash with you when you leave. I challenge you to take it at least one piece extra with you.
