It all started in 2020. All of the normal swimming spots in Austin were closed.

Many people began hanging out on the sandbar where Barton Creek spills into the Colorado River.

I was already working on a project to DJ from my paddleboard. This could be a way to engage with Austinites about keeping the water clean and picking up trash. Seeing everyone at the sandbar kicked my project into gear.

I started putting my idea together and the thought was a micro DJ setup.
